One World Government and the 10 Kings of Revelation 17

The idea that there is a behind-the-scene attempt to set up a one-world government is not the creation of a lunatic fringe. Malachi Martin was a close confidant of Pope John Paul II with access to intelligence data of the highest level. He held private audiences with the Pope. It would be difficult for anyone to be better informed on the trends in international politics than he was. In the introduction to his epic book The Keys of This Blood he wrote the following words,

Willing or not, ready or not, we are all involved in an all out, no-holds-barred, three way global competition. Most of us are not the competitors, however. We are the stakes. For the competition is about who will establish the first one-world government that has ever existed in the society of nations. … As to time factor involved, those of us who are under seventy will see at least the basic structures of the new world government installed.[6]

Martin identifies one group of the contenders for world rulership as “Transnationalist”. The Transnationalists are heads of vast corporations and business interests who “operate from two principle bases of power. The first is the power base of finance, industry and technology.”[7]

Martin states that these world financiers “all give speeches about the end to the nation system of our passing civilization.” [8] Is there proof of Martin’s assertion? Yes! At a Bilderbergers Conference held in Germany in June 1991 David Rockefeller told an assembly of the world’s elite that the world was now ready to accept a world government under the jurisdiction of the world bankers. Rockefeller declared,

The world is now more sophisicated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely more preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

At this point we need to observe one pertinent fact. One of the richest and most powerful men on the planet in an address to the other richest and most powerful individuals on earth stated that the time had come to set up a “world government” under the jurisdiction of “the supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers.” Rockefeller’s statement takes us out of the realm of imaginary conspiracy theories and speculation about possibilities and maybe’s and confronts us with a clearly stated intention of the world’s most powerful men.

President Bush mentioned the ‘New World Order’ in his commencement address at Texas A&M University May 12, 1989. "Ultimately, our objective is to welcome the Soviet Union back into the World Order. Perhaps the world order of the future will truly be a family of nations." President George Bush (January 1991) also stated: "If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then this lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging ‘New World Order’ we now see, this long dreamed-of vision we’ve all worked toward for so long."

The Seattle Post-Intelligence reported that Henry Kissinger, former Secretary of State, said: "Our nation is uniquely endowed to play a creative and decisive role in the new world order which is taking form around us."

Mikhail Gorbachev, in an address at the United Nations (December 1988) stated: "Further global progress is now possible only through a quest for universal consensus in the movement towards a new world order." [9] In an article in the Straits Times dated March 29, 2002 Louise Branson wrote,

These days, Washington is a place where there is the sense that the world is up for grabs, that the early 21st century is a time when a new world order is emerging. Few believe they know how it will look definitively, say, five years from now. American academics and think-tank experts have taken to talking of the United States as the new Rome, a dominant empire with unprecedented power and global reach.[10]

Dan Smoot, a former member of the FBI staff in Washington conducted an investigation of the aims of the Council on Foreign Relations. He concluded that, “The ultimate aim of the Council on Foreign Relations [is] to create a one-world socialist system and make the United States an official part of it.”[11] Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbott, Clinton's roommate at Oxford, wrote this in Time magazine, July 20, 1992:

All countries are basically social arrangements.… No matter how permanent and even sacred they may seem at any one time, in fact they are all artificial and temporary.… Within the next hundred years … nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority

God in His mercy has sent warnings to His people

It is often the case that trouble is greater in abticipation than in reality;but this is not true of the crises before us. The most vivid presentation cannot reach the magnitude of the crises before us. GC. P.622 A great terror is soon to come upon human beings. The end is very near. We who know the truth should be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise. 8T 28 (1904)
Not long from now corporate Adventism will lose the capacity to function. For all practical purpose there will be no General Conference, no Division office, no local conference to direct the traffic. The Adventist Church will consist of local communities working for God in their own areas, and completely in the dark about what is happening even on the other side of the city. Institutional religion cannot survive the crisis that is coming. The cause of the crisis will be the collapse of the US dollar. Economic authorities say this will bring about the total collapse of the monetary system. When that happens we will be introduced INSTANTANEOUSLY into a cashless society in which the average person will have no purchasing power. The only food source will be a central bureaucracy that will supply food to some but withhold it from others.
Adventist have talked about troubled times for years. But an awful truth has now emerged. The political conditions that make this time of trouble possible ALREADY EXIST. And the will to make it happen NOW by powerful forces ALREADY EXISTS. Who of us has realised that every day for some time now we have been no more than TWENTY FOUR HOURS away from a crisis of which "the most vivid presentation cannot reach the magnitude of the ordeal."
You will be told to be calm, that we have heard all this before, and nothing has ever come of it. But if you want to understand Revelation 13 study the economy. George Soros one of the most powerful and richest men on the planet had this to say, and he is talking about everyday happenings in economic affairs; "extending the market mechanism to all domains has the potential of DESTROYING SOCIETY." If you think you know more about money matters than George Soros then feel free to ignore his warning and trust your own instincts that all is well.
Those who have studied current trends in international economic practices have reached an unhappy conclusion. "If you have an unstable system, it is just a question of when it will fly off the handle. It will blow apart at THE MOMENT WHEN THE US DOLLAR EXPERIENCES A CRISIS. When the dollar crisis occurs, THE WORLD WILL HAVE NO SYSTEM LEFT."

Temptation No Excuse for Sin

There is not an impulse of our nature, not a faculty of the mind or an inclination of the heart, but needs to be, moment by moment, under the control of the Spirit of God. There is not a blessing which God bestows upon man, nor a trial which he permits to befall him, but Satan both can and will seize upon it to tempt, to harass, and destroy the soul, if we give him the least advantage. Therefore however great one's spiritual light, however much he may enjoy of the divine favor and blessing, he should ever walk humbly before the Lord, pleading in faith that God will direct every thought and control every impulse. {MYP 62.1} All who profess godliness are under the most sacred obligation to guard the spirit, and to exercise self- control under the greatest provocation. The burdens placed upon Moses were very great; few men will ever be so severely tried as he was; yet this was not allowed to excuse his sin. God has made ample provision for His people; and if they rely upon His strength, they will never become the sport of circumstances. The strongest temptation cannot excuse sin. However great the pressure brought to bear upon the soul, transgression is our own act. It is not in the power of earth or hell to compel any one to do evil. Satan attacks us at our weak points, but we need not be overcome. However severe or unexpected the assault, God has provided help for us, and in His strength we may conquer.--"Patriarchs and Prophets," p. 421. {MYP 62.2}

Far-Reaching Influence of the Home

The mission of the home extends beyond its own members. The Christian home is to be an object lesson, illustrating the excellence of the true principles of life. Such an illustration will be a power for good in the world. . . . As the youth go out from such a home, the lessons they have learned are imparted. Nobler principles of life are introduced into other households, and an uplifting influence works in the community. {AH 31.1} The home in which the members are polite, courteous Christians exerts a far-reaching influence for good. Other families will mark the results attained by such a home, and will follow the example set, in their turn guarding the home against Satanic influences. The angels of God will often visit the home in which the will of God bears sway. Under the power of divine grace such a home becomes a place of refreshing to worn, weary pilgrims. By watchful guarding, self is kept from asserting itself. Correct habits are formed. There is a careful recognition of the rights of others. The faith that works by love and purifies the soul stands at the helm, presiding over the whole household. Under the hallowed influence of such a home, the principle of brotherhood laid down in the word of God is more widely recognized and obeyed. {AH 31.2}
