There is a comment to the post I made entitled "Allah-the moon god"....This is the comment:
This is not the truth! Have you ever talked with muslims, read the Quran?
Where do you think the word GOD came from? Paganisme! It was used by the nordic vikings and before that when they talked about their gods...
Muhammed learned christianity from the nestorians and ebionites around him in his days. He wanted the arab people to return to God of their forefathers Abraham.... and to turn away from all their gods. After his wife dies he was mocked and persecuted and run away to Medina. His last year he turned away, and started to have many wifes and started wars against many. He died 10-12 years after this.
He did not write the Quran. He told his fellow arabs to read the bible and if they had questions they should ask the people of the book...you and me? God has many children amoung the arab and turkish nations. Lets be nice and dont say they are worshipping an idol if they are not. When I go to churches in Turkey (SDA and others) we are all worshipping Allah, because thats the word for God in their bibles, like it has been long before Muhammed.
Love from Elin...
Note the Quran states that allah have no son.... If this is so then Allah is not the same God in the Bible.....Reads the quote from the Quran below...
Verse 4:157 - "They denied the truth and uttered a monstrous falsehood against Mary. They declared: 'We have put to death the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the apostle of Allah.' They did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but they thought they did."
First, this denial about the crucifixion of Jesus also came from people, out side of Islam, trying to prove the Bible in error in order to disprove the deity of Jesus. Archaeologists and historians have proved so conclusively that Jesus was crucify, that knowledgeable people who hate Christianity and are not Muslim don't even bring it up any more. Therefore, this claim has been proved false and the Koran is in error. But we need to find out what it is that Islam teaches and Muslims believe about the "Jesus of Islam" to see whether they do believe in the Jesus of the Bible as some claim.
In this particular case, it is obvious that the Koran teaches that Jesus was not crucified and, therefore, could not have risen from the dead, paid for the crimes of man against the Laws of God, and is only human and not the Son of God and God manifested in the flesh.
Verse 4:171 - "People of the Book, do not transgress the bounds of your religion. Speak nothing but the truth about Allah. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was no more than Allah's apostle and His Word which He cast to Mary: a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His apostles and do not say: "Three.' Forbear, and it shall be better for you. Allah is but one God. Allah forbid that He should have a son!"
Another clear statement by Muhammad that Jesus was nothing but a man and prophet.
Verse 6:101 - "Creator of the heavens and the earth. How should He have a son when He had no consort? He created all things, and He has knowledge of all things."
Verse 19:90 - "Those who say: 'The Lord of Mercy has begotten a son,' preach a monstrous falsehood, at which the very heavens might crack, the earth split asunder, and the mountains crumble to dust. That they should ascribe a son to the Merciful, when it does not become the Lord of Mercy to beget one!"
There are many verses in the Koran where Muhammad denies the deity, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus and that He is the Son of God. The Jesus of Islam is just a man and prophet. He is even considered to be a lesser prophet to Muhammad because Muhammad is considered to be the highest prophet of Allah.
The God of the Bible have a son and His name is JESUS and He died to save us all from sin and the enemy. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" Take God at His word and trust Him and He will greatly bless and keep you in all His ways......Bless!!!!!
